Human Resources Generalist

Company Overview:

This company is a private equity and venture capital investor focused on high performing lower middle-market buyout, growth, turn-around and venture capital funds. Their sole business is to make investments through separate accounts, which they customize for large institutional investors, including public pension funds, sovereign wealth funds and insurance companies.

Responsibilities

They are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual who will report to the partners and will work with the entire team. Specific responsibilities will include:

  •   Ensure company compliance with all employment laws and regulations.

  •   Maintain, revise, and implement policies and procedures.

  •   Assist with recruiting needs.

  •   Responsible for onboarding and offboarding all company employees.

  •   Responsible for organizing company functions and firm communications.

  •   Manage company benefit and insurance plans including policy renewals and administration of 401(k) plan.

  •   Manage the annual employee review cycle.

  •   Manage all employee relations.

  •   Assist with other firm responsibilities as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant Human Resources experience in a professional office environment.

    • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

    • High degree of confidentiality and teamwork skills.

    • Strong computer skills including a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Professional.
