Position Overview:

This role represents a dynamic opportunity for a professional with strong organizational, analytical, writing and communications skills to work as a key member of the Investor Relations team at the Firm. Working with the Director of Investor Relations, the Investor Relations Associate will be responsible for managing investor communications in support of fundraising and investor reporting. As this role is focused more on project management skills than client facing responsibilities, this position suits an individual who enjoys the more technical aspects of the investment industry and requires a high degree of initiative, analytical rigor and a strong attention to detail.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the investor reporting process and draft quarterly and annual reports. Work with Investment Staff, Accounting, Legal/Compliance, Director of IR and Director of Marketing to complete quarterly and annual reporting package.

  • Respond to LP data and information requests by coordinating with various internal constituencies, including Investment Staff, Accounting, Legal and Compliance

  • Assist with the preparation of sophisticated analyses to support investor communications

  • Leverage data and industry information to conduct market and competitive analyses

  • Produce investor presentation analyses and slides

  • Support the Director of Investor Relations with the development of analytic tools and data that

    facilitate the review of portfolio performance

  • Support and maintain worksheets and databases designed to track fundraising progress

  • Coordinate the preparation of the firm’s Annual Meeting, including assisting with drafting key

    messages and materials and performing related analysis

  • Participate in investor calls and some investor meetings, as appropriate

Qualifications:

Candidates for the role should have a bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials
and 2-4 years of financial services experience. Previous investor relations experience, while preferred, is not required. Additionally, while direct private equity investment experience is not required, some investment or transaction experience would be helpful. The candidate’s background could include consulting, accounting, equity research, M&A, leveraged finance, financial sponsor coverage, fund of funds, private equity placements, etc.
