FIRM CAPITAL CREDIT OVERVIEW

The Firm’s Credit is a leading global credit specialist with approximately half a billion in assets under management. The Credit hedge invests up and down the capital structure and across the spectrum of credit strategies, including leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, distressed debt, private lending, structured products, non-performing loans and equities. Their team of more than 200 professionals creates value through rigorous, independent analysis of thousands of corporate issuers around the world. In addition to credit, the Firm invests across asset classes including private equity, public equity and venture capital, and leverages the firm’s shared platform to capture opportunities in strategic areas of focus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for providing world class support to numerous teams across the firm, including the trading desk, investor relations, finance and fund management teams across BCC investment platforms

• Ensure the trading desk has the most up-to-date investment holdings data to buy or sell assets externally

• Bank Loan Administration, including Loan Agency work

• Daily monitoring and processing of portfolio activity including bank loan transactions, corporate actions, deal fundings, corporate bond activity, and public equity transactions

• Collaborate with fellow team members to provide robust support across the firm

• Build, manage, and enhance relationships with other internal teams and external partners

• Gain exposure to a world renown asset management firm and how it executes its day-to-day operations

DESIRED BACKGROUND/EDUCATION

• 1-2 years of fixed income experience highly recommended

• Exposure to syndicated bank loans preferred

• Exposure to portfolio accounting systems preferred, particularly Advent Geneva

• Proficiency in Excel

• 3.25 GPA or higher
