Job Description Summary
The individual will be a member of the Portfolio Analytics team within the company’s Data Office. The role will have exposure to a range of activities including team management, data governance and analysis, data expansion and assist in any continuous improvement projects as needed. The role requires a collaborative individual able to communicate clearly and effectively both strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have excellent analytical and reporting skills. Familiarity with financial statements and financial concepts. Ability to manage priorities, solid data management knowledge and attention to detail.

Experience with creating, developing, and managing new processes
Self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment
Has enthusiasm for the mission of the company and for its diverse and inclusive culture
Proficient in MS Teams, Apps, PowerPoint, Word
Advanced Excel skills, Bloomberg experience a plus
General knowledge of CapitalIQ, Pitchbook, Microstrategy
Responsibilities
Data Governance and Expansion: 80%
Aid in instituting best practices for data management within Portfolio Analytics
Lead team in enhancing data governance initiatives within Portfolio Analytics
Increase scope of data governed within Portfolio Analytics team
Work with internal company teams to expand our unstructured data set
Structure unstructured data for internal consumption
Team Leadership:10%
Mentor and coach indirect reports in support of the Firm’s performance and development process
Active listener who will foster and encourage a team-orientated atmosphere
Proactively manage the team so that work is being done efficiently and assist with prioritization as needed
Hire, train, mentor, assign/monitor workload, where applicable
Perform annual reviews, where applicable
Technology Development & Enhancements: 10%
Maintain accurate information across systems
Trouble-shoot problems as they arise

Education:
BS/BA or equivalent
Work Experience:
10+ years financial services experience
